Simon Estrada

Chief Executive Officer

Head of Art Department

Simon is a designer and illustrator with a diverse background in the arts. Showing great talent at a very young age, his parents enrolled him at the Armory Center of the Arts in Pasadena, California, where he explored various medium and techniques in the visuals arts, including sculpturing and animation.

Gaining a scholarship, he enrolled in BA in Fine Arts at the University of Santa Barabara followed by a BFA in Illustration at the prestigious Art Center College of Design with an emphasis in Entertainment Arts. His dedication and excellence to his art and academics gain him an Art Center Portfolio Scholarship, as well as being added on the Dean's List.

Soon after graduation, he was quickly recruited by The Jim Henson Company to character design for the animated television show, “Good Morning Today”. Since then, he has worked with an impressive clientele of companies and organizations such as Buzzfeed, Hasbro, Quote-Unquote, Cedars Sinai, Quest Nutrition, Saban Brands, Gelcomm, Healthline.com, and Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation.

In 2015, Simon founded the production company Parabolic K&E Entertainment and became an Art Director at Jim Henson Company for an upcoming animated series that will air on PBS kids. On his off time, he participates in the annual chalk festival in Pasadena and Houston that raises funds for arts and learning programs in schools. 

Jeremy Jackson

Head of Photography Department

Music & Documentary Director

Jeremy Jackson is a Los Angeles based photographer and director. Born to an artistic family, Jeremy was passionate about the visual and performing arts from an early age. He studied visual arts at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and was also a tap dancer as a member of Jazz Tap Ensemble’s Caravan Project.

After high school, he fortuitously met famed architecture photographer Julius Shulman and assisted him on shoots throughout Los Angeles. The experience inspired Jeremy to pursue a career in photography which led him to study at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Upon graduating, he assisted several renowned celebrity and fashion photographers. Currently, Jeremy is an independent photographer, shooting portraits and directing videos.

Matt Johnson

Lead Military History Consultant

Matt is currently pursuing a doctorate in American military history at Ohio University.  His studies have covered the breadth of the American military experience, from the earliest violent encounters between Europeans and Native Americans to the United States most recent endeavors in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Matt has maintained an interest in the combat experience of the American soldier and connecting the significance of strategic objectives to individual tactical engagements.

Matt’s current research focuses on the Cold War period and the early twenty-first century, and examines the institutional culture of the American Armed Forces and the integration of technology.  In addition to his academic pursuits, Matt worked at the RAND Corporation as a summer associate where he used his skills as a historian to contribute to a study sponsored by the United States Air Force.

Matt received his bachelor of arts in history from Virginia Tech in 2011 and a master of arts in military history at Ohio University in 2013.
