Simon Estrada
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Head of Art Department
Simon is a designer and illustrator with a diverse background in the arts. Showing great talent at a very young age, his parents enrolled him at the Armory Center of the Arts in Pasadena, California, where he explored various medium and techniques in the visuals arts, including sculpturing and animation.
Gaining a scholarship, he enrolled in BA in Fine Arts at the University of Santa Barabara followed by a BFA in Illustration at the prestigious Art Center College of Design with an emphasis in Entertainment Arts. His dedication and excellence to his art and academics gain him an Art Center Portfolio Scholarship, as well as being added on the Dean's List.
Soon after graduation, he was quickly recruited by The Jim Henson Company to character design for the animated television show, “Good Morning Today”. Since then, he has worked with an impressive clientele of companies and organizations such as Buzzfeed, Hasbro, Quote-Unquote, Cedars Sinai, Quest Nutrition, Saban Brands, Gelcomm, Healthline.com, and Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation.
In 2015, Simon founded the production company Parabolic K&E Entertainment and became an Art Director at Jim Henson Company for an upcoming animated series that will air on PBS kids. On his off time, he participates in the annual chalk festival in Pasadena and Houston that raises funds for arts and learning programs in schools.
Pavan
Founder & Film Division Producer

Pavan is a gifted filmmaker who directs and writes drama and action for television and feature films and branded content for commercials. He cares about telling great stories with integrity and intelligence, wrapped within emotional context and immersive experience. He believes that Story is King and has an unwavering commitment to excellence.
In 2009, Pavan embarked on his filmmaking journey at the Art Center College of Design, California, for a Master's degree in Film. He directed a number of short films that garnered critical appraisal and won him scholarships for clear set goals, potential to succeed, and excellent academic standing
This year, he released three spec commercials, as well as establishing Parabolic K&E Entertainment with Simon Estrada. He is currently writing two TV pilots and a feature length script.
Marguerite Truckey
Executive Producer & Project Manager
Marguerite Truckey is a Los Angeles-based film producer raised in Colorado. A graduate of ArtCenter College of Design, her work spans narrative and documentary films, commercials and music videos. She is the founder of Highest Peak Productions, which specializes in stories emphasizing underrepresented communities, guided by her commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly filmmaking practices. Known for their collaborative spirit and strong leadership, Marguerite brings vision and purpose to every project she produces.
Hemant

Growing up in over 12 cities across three continents, gave Hemant a unique sensibility that he decided was best expressed in the visual medium of films. Hemant started his career in the largest and most well known advertising agency in Asia, in the city of Mumbai, as a creative writer. As a young writer he got the opportunity to write several commercials and campaigns for internationally and nationally well known brands. He moved into film production. Whilst completing his MFA In Film from the prestigious Art Center College of Design at Pasadena, Hemant was selected and felicitated by the USGC (United States Geological Society) for shooting a PSA commercial that was licensed for their massive TV campaign for earthquake awareness. He has recently completed a Certificate in Film Directing with distinction from UCLA, and is currently a free lance Director/Writer in Los Angeles.
Jeremy Jackson
Head of Photography Department
Music & Documentary Director
Jeremy Jackson is a Los Angeles based photographer and director. Born to an artistic family, Jeremy was passionate about the visual and performing arts from an early age. He studied visual arts at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and was also a tap dancer as a member of Jazz Tap Ensemble’s Caravan Project.
After high school, he fortuitously met famed architecture photographer Julius Shulman and assisted him on shoots throughout Los Angeles. The experience inspired Jeremy to pursue a career in photography which led him to study at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Upon graduating, he assisted several renowned celebrity and fashion photographers. Currently, Jeremy is an independent photographer, shooting portraits and directing videos.
Karl Gottschalk
Lead Music Composer
Karl is a film composer known for his work on the multiple award winning documentary Pickle Man. Karl's music has also been nominated for Best Music at the Milan Film Festival for his work on Lakeshore Blues, worked on orchestrations for the Korean blockbuster film Rampant, and recently wrote additional music for the popular Netflix series She-Ra.
Inspired at a young age to pursue classical music, Karl trained as a bassoonist at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he developed a strong orchestral background. Drawn by the emotional impact of film music, Karl then recieved a Master's degree in Film Scoring at the University of Southern California, where he combined his orchestral background with experimental sound design and modern production techniques. Currently, Karl works as a freelance composer, orchestrator, and assists other composers on large-scale productions.
Matt Johnson
Lead Military History Consultant
Matt is currently pursuing a doctorate in American military history at Ohio University. His studies have covered the breadth of the American military experience, from the earliest violent encounters between Europeans and Native Americans to the United States most recent endeavors in Iraq and Afghanistan. Matt has maintained an interest in the combat experience of the American soldier and connecting the significance of strategic objectives to individual tactical engagements.
Matt’s current research focuses on the Cold War period and the early twenty-first century, and examines the institutional culture of the American Armed Forces and the integration of technology. In addition to his academic pursuits, Matt worked at the RAND Corporation as a summer associate where he used his skills as a historian to contribute to a study sponsored by the United States Air Force.
Matt received his bachelor of arts in history from Virginia Tech in 2011 and a master of arts in military history at Ohio University in 2013.
